Before becoming an attorney Francis X. Hughes gained 20 years of practical experience as a small business person. As a veteran of small business, Mr. Hughes understands the risk, sacrafice, and legal challenges that small business people face. As a entrepreneur who worked the long hours, he can also identify with the legal needs of working families who are renting property, purchasing homes, securing their economic future, and coping with the challenges of debt. 
Prior to going to law schoool, Mr. Hughes encountered such legal matters as: commercial leases, landlord tenant disputes, employment law, workers compensation issues, shareholder lawsuits, business entity formation, debt restructure, consumer protection law, breach of contract, and warranty law. 
That early practical exposure, combined with his recent law school education, has given Mr. Hughes the ability to analyze complex legal issues with an eye toward common sense solutions.
